Global hunger is an epidemic right now. A lot of countries that belong to the category of third world countries face this problem first hand. Global hunger does not mean to skip a meal a day. It is more about a region of people being hungry for a couple of days or months or even generations. Statistics estimate that there are roughly 800 million people suffering world hunger right now as you read. The lucky ones are us, and we should be thankful for whatever we have and try to help them eagerly. Only awareness of humans of this global issue and acting on it can make this hunger fed.
Global Hunger: A Periodical Cycle
Hunger is a periodical cycle that passes through generation to generation. Families or people that go through chronic poverty and hunger do not have the supply of nutrition from their bodies and mind. Where there is no mental structure formed is a struggle. People do not have the will to go to work or to toil for their food and living. Of course, there is too much lack of motivation. Understandably, with hunger in the stomach, there is no energy left to work that turns into more poverty, which turns into more hunger issues. It is the trait of a cyclical form that seems never to end.
Governments Fail To Tackle The Situations
The governments of such countries fail to construct a suitable frame for their respective countries, so it is just dysfunction after that. It is ironic that to break the cycle of poverty and hunger can only be broke with physical strength and extreme willpower, which comes after there is no hunger. That is why outsider help is much required. For outsiders to help, they need to be aware, and such is the goal of this article. Empathy is well aware of this factor, and they try to help these people; however, they can.
Countries Affected With Ill-Effects Of Hunger
As previously mentioned, roughly 800 million people go to bed with little to no food or insufficient food in their stomachs. Calculated, that is one in every ten people that is hungry is some countries — namely, South Sudan, Nigeria, Congo, Yemen, Somalia, and Ghana. Mostly African countries face this much poverty in them. Though a lot of charities have tried helping, this chronic epidemic does not seem to back off even a bit. People suffering from these kinds of issues also are plagued with chronic illness, less productivity, development disability, and socially inner turmoil. Often, they do not see another option to live on except using their last drop of physical and financial stability.
Ninety-seven percent of poverty and hunger-related issues settle in developing countries. Continents like Africa and Asia seem to be on the top of the list. States in Asia like Indonesia, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia have come under this global hunger issue. It is right that nearby neighboring countries help a lot, but still, this is like a bruise that does not heal off on its own.
Being humans, we should be more aware of this problem in the world right now and send help and good wishes to them. They need encouragement and teachings so that they can form a self-sufficient country for themselves and become responsible for their future.
