Truth – Is Not Just A Fact

Truth - Is Not Just A Fact

Truth and facts are closely related to each other. Truth is something that every person believes. Fact is also related to the reality of life. Fact is proven, and thus, every person thinks a point. It is a philosophical subject. It is a myth that truth and facts can be used interchangeably with each other. There is a slight difference between the two words. Reality includes events. The other way to this statement is all facts are not the truth. We can prove facts, but we cannot confirm the truth. The article explains the two terms of reality and truth mathematically. One such example is two plus one makes three. It is a fact. This fact is proven. The other version of this fact is three into one is also three, and four minus one is also three. It is all true. Thus to further explain, facts can be the truth. The truth may be fact or may not be fact.

What Is Truth – It Is Not Just A Fact

From the above discussion, we can say in the language of maths truth is based on all reasoning. We can further assume that the truth is not permanent. It is surprising to know when a person finds a meaning of truth and a fact, he gets confused as there is a very slight difference between the two. The truth is temporary.

On the other hand, facts are permanent. That is if we say that two plus one is three. The answer will always remain three. It is a fact, and this fact can never change. People get confused while finding the meaning of the two terms. When we say that truth is never permanent, we mean that if a person says that he is today in a particular city. This statement is right and thus the reports cannot be denied. Further, if a person shifts from a specific place, then that truth changes. Therefore the comment was correct and valid for a particular moment, but it changes with time.

What Do You Mean By Fact?

The fact is real, is natural, and it cannot be changed. To further explain, we take the help of an example. Suppose if we say, sunrises from the east and sets in the West. It is again a truth, but this truth is a fact as well because this truth is permanent and cannot be changed. Thus this truth is a fact. Sun will always rise from the east and sets in the West. It will never change. Therefore the point is permanent. This fact exists in reality. Facts are not something that a person has a myth about; it is a never-changing reality. We can also say that fact is natural. The truth is universal. We can say facts are always constant. From the above examples, people will understand the difference between fact and truth. Events are real — truth; on the other hand, changes with time. We can prove a fact by observing.
